Product engineer · CEO of Tolaron · shareholder in AtletiLabs Europe

I'm from the south-west of the Czech Republic, from Šumava, and I live in Prague. I started learning to program at twelve. I was working on my first mobile apps while still at university. My first experience of fintech came at GoPay, and after that I worked for a UK fintech startup, where I led the team building its mobile app. Step by step I moved from writing code toward architecture and product ownership. The mobile app often turned out to be the central product of the whole project — and that is exactly the direction I believe in.

01What I do

I build digital products around a mobile app: from MVP to production, and then onward through maintenance and further development. I take responsibility for the whole product surface — architecture decisions, UI/UX, production code, the database, the backend and the infrastructure. The entire tech stack, not just the screens.

In practice that means the decisions are not made in three separate places. What a screen looks like, what the API thinks of it, what it does to a database query and what it costs to run are one question, not four. I hold all of it, so nobody waits for two suppliers to agree on whose fault something is.

That includes everything after release: the release cycle across App Store Connect and Google Play, CI/CD, crash monitoring, store review, and maintenance for the moment the product starts to change. The apps I built, I then kept shipping for years.

02Where I've worked
